A true mash-up of when graphic design meets photography with a love for all things visual. As the creative end of the Co-Founder team I guess what describes my role at LOOKK best is “connecting all the (beautiful) dots”. And then making sure that in the end, the lines in between the dots spell LOOKK.

 

 

 

 

 

I live and breathe code. I’ve been programming since I was a little kid and I don’t intend to stop. When I’m not programming for work, I’m doing it for fun or teaching it in various places. When away from the computer, I enjoy jazz, thick books and mountain biking. And an occasional pipe.

 

 

 

 

 

Working as a fashion designer, as well as studying business economics, helped me become the missing link between the aesthetic and commercial sides of LOOKK. I have a passion for all things avant-garde, I’m obsessive about fabrics and materials, and having seen the tough world from a designer’s perspective, I’m completely driven by the idea of giving the fashion industry a new spin by opening doors for customers to discover a greater amount of designers.

 

 

 

 

 

 

My home is editorial and everything involving words – from our newsletter to our magazine. I love digging for stories and giving context to the designers on LOOKK. I’m a massive fan of Shakespeare, a bit of a bookworm, and resident chief of the spelling & grammar police at LOOKK (double K? Seriously? Sigh.) I think too much, I love the arts, and I’m a bit too partial to an after-work drink.

 

 

 

 

 

 

I grew up in the Italian part of Switzerland, studied in Lausanne and before starting here, I spent most of my time travelling to and from New York working on book design. I came to London out of curiosity for the city and to create something new with LOOKK.

 

 

 

 

 

 

I’ve been working as a Web Developer since 2002, working in a Bulgarian company called Pixeldepo. I graduated from the Technical University of Varna in 2010 and joined LOOKK later that year. As my pet-project, I’m currently helping set up a co-working hacker space in Varna called VarnaLab.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Maths graduate and geek-turned-PR Assistant. I’m half Bajan and I love a good maths related joke or pun (who doesn’t!). I love how LOOKK keeps me on my toes, whether it’s discovering new design talent or learning about the next impressive piece of techy software the development team have cooked up!

 

 

 

 

 

 

As fresh fashion journalism meat, I was taken under LOOKK’s editorial wing to prove my worth as a fashion savvy writer. I’m a self proclaimed InDesign junkie, an avid follower of all things ACNE and I believe the only way to spend a Sunday afternoon is scrounging coppers together to buy cheap tack at car-boot sales.
